No, there is no free method for A2 CID 53 phones. You still can use this acoustic without the patch but the quality wont good as when patch applied

I have no idea if it is better in MegaBass phone or not.
But yes, its better in ClearBass phone based on my ears.

Why don't you try to use the ClearBass patch and use this acoustic?

tested your acoustic blacklizard Xtreme HD Acoustics V3.2 on my w995 with drc on, eq set to [2][+2][+1][0][+1][+1] and what i can say is the sound output is very clear, solid bass punch, sharp crisp treble and no hissing at max volume....what a great driver, thanks blacklizard

edit: change to drc off, eq set to [2][+2][+2][+1][+1][+2], both setting are awesome depending on your ears liking and the music you play but my preference is drc on
