Ok maybe someone can explain because i am no electrician. Wont this battery overload the satio and burn it out??

the standard battery is 1000mAh 3.6v and the replacement is 1800mAh 3.7v

i am tempted but i dont want to kill my satio quicker just for a few more hours of life. Please explain.

Difference is not enough to kill the phone, and the battery is so cheap that it can be discarded if itīs not good.

i bought the battery from Sun Global Company, and it made from japan, not from china.

well, the capazity of a battery depends of its volume, what do you think about a 1800mAh battery in the same size of the originaly 1000mAh...?

Wow! Are those chinese 1800mAh reliable and do they fit perfectly? If that capacity is true, that's almost the double of the standard Satios battery! And that should make a nice differente in its autonomy!

What has that to do with Chinese?

I've seen that that that battery on Satio will drain much (MUCH) faster if you let anything opened (like the Contacts or Messaging). It seems logical yeah, but it is such a huge difference! I've been carefully to close every application and my battery is still full after a full day of normal use. However, I'm curious about those 1800mAh batteries.

I can confirm the battery does fit I have had to take the foil off to make it fit though, cannot comment on battery life yet as I have only received it today, I am going to do the initial 12hour charge as well, I know some people say this is not needed now a days but I have bought phones in the past and not done it and had terrible battery life, Im not sure if it had a baring on it or not, but I just want to be totally certain.

One thing I must say though, without the foil the battery is very delicate and could easily fall apart and be useless I'm guessing, although for me as it will stay in the phone and not move this is not an issue, but it means people that use different sim-cards etc, would just need to be careful when handling it.

@gregpot2000 - After roughly 2hrs the satio will disconnect from the charger so not sure how you could charge it for 12hrs, also the leaflet manual that came with satio said you can charge the phone any time for as long as you want and you can interrupt the charge and continue again without any harm.

It has always been recommended to charge for 12hours for initial use though to condition the battery, whether this is relevant today, or has never been relevant, I just want to get the best possible performance from my battery, As I'm sick of having to charge my Satio before I go anywhere at all, or it running out and leaving me stranded on nights out
