There are EQ settings files becouse EQ was present in prototype. SE is just continuing old FW by fixing it...

Maybe it's possible to enable it in a same way as vivaz hS... A feauture txt file from Satio prototype might help.

Been browsing the vivaz firmware posted on this forum and found the following files in the resource/apps directory. Equalizer.r01 etc up to Eaualizer.rsc. Perhaps there is a hidden equalizer app in the vivaz firmware that could be copied to the satio.

I honestly don't understand why SE do this sort of shit, I remember back when I had a P900 and the memory limit, update to P910 FW and memory limit increased, if the device has the HW capability why don't they just include it FFS, so annoying, this sort of policy is why they are failing to impress and loosing market share, like I have said before, on a high end device you would expect to see these basic things like a Fecking EQ on the music player, I have owned SE phone for a long time and only now am i starting to research other options.

Sound like it big deal for someone but not me

Satio produce just really good sound quality with HPM-77
bit boost treble and plus good amount of bass in well balance
I think it above most of walkman phone except w995 and sister Aino.
