An old thread, but I just upgraded to an Elm on Orange UK. The website still says coming soon but I phoned them up and they sent me one. Just thought I'd post as I have been waiting to see something about it on Orange. As far as I can tell, there's no branding whatsoever! Even the O2 menu that Bonovox's had is just "Search", although annoyingly it still can't be changed as far as I can tell. It doesn't have a front facing camera (the manual suggests its optional), but it can still do video calls.

Congratulations mate. I am jealous wish i had mine now but i shall get another one soon. And insure it this time. That often happens on Orange early on release there is zero branding. Post some photos in my thread keep it going.

Probably not, because it's a 'clean' phone. So if Orange might brand newer phones, yours will be updated with the generic firmware.
