Have you developed anything you would like me to test?

Very nice update. Again, apple is not 'introducing new things' but giving its version on how specific functions should work. One question, do you have to be on the developer program to install beta OS 4.0? If I download it and install it on my 3gs, will I be able to activate it and use it?

@Nanu, sorry, no apps that I need testers for
@SloopJohnB, this is my first install of a beta iPhone OS so I'm not sure how it works. You certainly need to be in the developer program to officially download and as far as I am aware, when you use iTunes to apply the beta it verifies against Apple's servers whether its beta firmware or original (which is why you can no longer downgrade)

Video what sorry? do you know anyone who actually uses that? I have used it once or twice in the past and forgot about it due to poor quality.

I haven't found any reference suggesting OS4 has video calling
and since no current device could support it I would doubt they would mention it as it would only giveaway something in the next iphone hardware
in any case, I don't know a single person in my whole range of friends and colleagues that uses video calling, so having it would do me no good. I've only ever used it once just to say I've tried it!
anyway, as expected I couldn't wait to install but have found that it crashes windows itunes when trying to upgrade but its installing fine on mac itunes... strange
anyway... fun and exciting times for me installing a beta os on a phone

the closest I have come is installing unofficial WM firmwares

I know not many people use it I have made one video call ever that lasted 20 seconds. I was just saying. But I did read that it's going to have video calling Cannot remember where I read that

Think I was getting confused with the new iphone when it comes forget it think I am getting my wires crossed
