May I please ask which player you use on your PC to play the MP4 videos?
I may only paly them with VLC... Other players have a lagging video to sound playback.

I downloaded latest WMP classic but while it plays the HD files made with the Vivaz, the system struggles to cope with.
I have XP on my PC and I suspect that my Graphics card isn't that flexible.
I still can only play the files with VLC and many stutters are there to get on my nerves.
SE is fooling around with the so much advertised HD video capture. I hope someone sues them just for the sake of maladvertising and capitalising on something that is not what they promise us to be. Other phones claim to have HD capture but SE focused all adverising efforts around this. Legally this is a big problem.
Anyway, the most strange thing for me is why sometimes the capture has 1 on 2 very short stutters while some other times there are 2-3 or even more heavy stutter points. I am trying to find what is the probable cause so I can take measures to minimise this problem. You know, it is very annoying after some 5 minutes of videotaping someone doing something to realise that during playback there are stutters...
Bloody SE marketeers
Regards
Al

Awareesa the video stutter defect appear only in vivaz playback at first seconds not on the pc.
In my pc all video taken with vivaz are fluids from start to finish, i suspect that the hardware of your computer is in difficulty when play the video... There is a problem of 23fps instead of 24 but is not relevant about stutter. Which processor and video card do you use?

Intel Core Duo T2450 @ 2.00 Ghz
Display Adapter: VIA Chrome9 HC IGP
Now, you say playbacks on your PC are fluid. What about an MP4 file I uploaded on Youtube, please check it below:

Puzzling, isn't it?

Re-update your phone using SEUS... It's looking like firmware fault.

I agree.
Firmware or vivaz hardware problem.
Try first with seus to reinstall firmware if not resolve use wotan that rewrite all blocks of memory. If the problem remains
than is the hardware of your vivaz.

I visited a SE service center. They updated the firmware (I believe the cleaned everything) but the firmware they installed is the same with the one I had. To get things even worse for me, the problem now is bigger and the stutters more and heavier.
Tomorrow I am going to give it so they will check etc etc. So goodbye to my mobile phone for 2 weeks until they eventually and hopefully decide to give me a replacement.
I SO MUCH REGRETTED THIS PURCHASE. Vodafone & SE don't give a sh*t to replace quickly and the phone is only 15 days in my ownership. MASS SELLING and MASS AVOIDANCE of customer service. Welcome to the new era...
Sorry for being so expressive,
Best regards
Al
