Just seen a You Tube video regarding problems with this phones saying it's slow & has horrible delays between selecting things like apps & it does not cope well with many things running. Is this true how are you finding it?

Not found it slow or delayed yet, and had it running several apps at once, maybe whoever put the videos on youtube are running silly amounts of apps etc... Finding it very responsive so far. Will try it with as many apps running as I can, see if that slows it down out of interest.

That's what I thought cos I seen another video review of it & it looks very fast although it was slightly speeded up. I love the pinch & zoom multi touch. The video i seen complaining of speed was some American woman

She's probably not using an app killer. Check out the video uploaded by Jon from Tehkseven (phonage), it has a comparrison of the Desire and the Galaxy S both running Quake 2. The Galaxy walks all over the Desire for frame rate

Oh cool. I don't use an app killer on my X10 but though I have a smartphone I am not one to run ten things at once. The most I do is 2 things running at once so I never get slow down. Many app killers I have tried kept crashing my phone

Ok guys i have today got one of these phones to replace yet another faulty x10. I have finally had it with Sony Ericsson and using this Samsung today all i can say is wow.

I am finding the phone great. Screen is ace even outside. Also despite it being glossy finger prints don't seem to stick as bad as some phones
