@spike, are you telling me you've NEVER EVER used a dictionary in your entire life??? That's amazing!!! You must be some sort of genius!!! Or are you really Merriam-Webster in disguise??!?!?!
Going back to the topic at hand... go to Mobipocket.com, download the reader, and choose the dictionary you want to buy. The MW pocket version is the cheapest one, Oxford's has more entries.
These are very useful for spell checks, or just to use as a dictionary. It can be used while reading eBooks or eNews just by clicking on the word in the publication.
I find no real use for eBooks (as in literature) unless you really really want to bring a lot of books while travelling. I use Mobipocket more for eNews (Time, Newsweek, etc...) and for reference books. I wish they had a more comprehensive encyclopedia set though... but then again, we still don't have 128MB Duos...so, that can wait!

Jcplacson- I can safely say that I have never used a dictionary while reading a book. Nor can I understand why anyone else would want/need to use a dictionary while reading. Dictionaries are very usefull for writing, but what possible use do they have while reading?.

@spike 731
Very useful for spelling "useful".
Less of the intellectual snobbery.
More of the information requested.

@spike, why on earth would you restrict yourself to using a dictionary for just reading recreational books??? Having a dictionary everywhere you go is very handy. It improves actual comprehension of any reading material... just cuz you know what the word means in context of the text it's in, doesn't mean you know the ACTUAL meaning. If all words meant exactly the same thing, there would be no need for a thesaurus now would there? And slight nuances between similar words might make all the difference when writing something.
Having a dictionary in the P800 is very useful since you can write emails and short notes. In this day and age, where SMS has virtually ruined evr1s spelng pwr... I welcome the fact that I can now write full & proper sentences on the P800, whether it be SMS, email, chat, or forum posts.
Some eBook publications are technical reference materials and having instant access to a dictionary while referring to these techincal journals is very, very helpful.
And, you can scroll through it, and try to memorize the whole thing while commuting!!!

...not to mention those people which have to deal with references in more than one or two languages.
Spike, I bet you didn't ever need a dictionary for English, French, German, Spanish and Italian, righto?
Kudos!
...having this on the P800 would rock!

@mk... Oxford has a full language set for the P800 as well... I just wasn't ready to spring 50 bucks for it!

I only have the Dictionary/Thesaurus set... pretty useful when you're working on the move.
What I am looking for is a 1st-aid/Home rememdy book.
