I would go for the W995, the music quality is amazing and the camera is ok too... probably the best walkman phone by Sony Ericsson and is even better with modded acoustics
BTW; purple fringing is a 2 second fix, you can process photos with a program to remove it.

I'll go for the SE W995 like most of you. It has all you'll ever look for in a walkman phone- Great sound quality, decent camera, nice design and built, etc.

guys plaese dont expect much fom w995 camera.it has higher mega pixel count but not the quality.purple fringing cannot be fixed with cadriver and firmare it purely of hw. from my view w995 is above average in camera but better than newer walkmans.apart from camera the phone is really nice.build,design,music,screen,bug free.. etc... the better phone after a longtime with reduced cam performance.

Out of curiosity...i did get a 2nd hand 6700 Classic. I did go for the build quality and as they say..the camera is good. But man! to my disappointment, the cam isn't the way i expected it to be. I was really disappointed 'bout the photo quality it produces. Without second thought, i sell it.

Get a C901. Put the best cam (Raiderski) and acoustic driver in there and then you're good to go.

Not a big fan of s60 myself, but the SE implementation on Satio is pretty good. I can live with it where as I'd never use a Nokia s60 on a day to day basis. The Nokia s60 phones away leave me cold. They don't appeal to me at all.
