Hey ginge,get ur facts right first,my mrs had a t68i (orange) only last wk and i did a test to compare with mine and i came across the service menu,funny enough it was locked,oh and dont argue with pachy cus pachy is always right :-D

i said it applied to carphone warehouse...get your facts straight...if you get it from there its unlocked.....
ive had 3 from there...all unlocked just as the guy from t-mobile told me they would be.....they are unlocked.
im not really going to argue with you, its not that important...but it helps if you read things and then comment instead if just jumping in.

Just chil out it is not worth getting all worked up for, I have two T68i's and both are on Orange both are locked to Orange but one has the logo and the other does not both were bought brand new by my self one from mobileshop.com and the other from smalltalk. There is about 6 months between them in when I bought them, the recent purchase from smalltalk about a week ago and this one has the logo on it the other about 6 months ago from mobileshop.com has no logo on it but they are both Orange hand sets. My other T68m is not locked and was originaly on vodafone but is now used on Orange as well.

@Volvoman, exactly, Orange phones all have the orange software & are locked to Orange, Voda don`t lock them on contracts, i tried to say all that in my first post & got loads of crap.

Stop this unessasary swearing, its not needed. Just to finally clear out your questions, Carphoen Wharehouse usually do NOT lock tehir phoens on T-Mobile (one2one) because with T-Mobile's permission they source their phones seperately. So if you buy a T-Mobile phone from Carphone Warehouse, the chances are is that it will be unlocked.
This swearing and abuse is unnessasry, and I think this topic should be locked.
