I agree with bart. Its sad to think that such Nokia services such as Ovi store, Ovi Music and Ovi maps will all be swallowed up by Microsoft. So much for free navigation for life, huh !?

IMO Nokia would have been better off sticking to their guns and investing much heavier a year or two ago or..

Im not sure how i feel about this, wish they had taken Android

agreed, opting for Android. Android is a much more advanced OS than WP7 is and can offer much more of what people like me who actually like Symbian are used to. It wouldnt be much of a change.

To me, WP7 is a very basic OS, like something id see on a toy computer in Toys-R-Us !

WM has an image problem imo because its still seen as a business orientated option to many.

Nokia could help WM be seen as a viable and attractive alternative to both Android and and iOS. I applaud Nokia for choosing to adapt because it is a very powerful, strategic decision that they have made and they have lots to compliment each other.

I think I understand this stratragic decision. A lot of people would think woo i've got windows on my phone. Yes, there still are millions of people that only look at phones when it's time for a new contract.

Great news, suddenly the SE Vivaz's is attractive again.
Hopefully the Nokia drops the Symbian all together, then I will buy me a Vivaz or Vivaz Pro. Before the last one vanished from the shops.

BTW. The Symbian keyboards in those models have arrow keys, which I miss in the Android 2.1.
Long live good OS:es.
