How does the mp3 pro compare to VBR encoded mp3s?

Yes you can,
nero burning rom can convert it from mp3pro to wav (or to another file extention)
or you can play the mp3 with winamp + the mp3pro plugin and then record it.

I have encoded a lot of songs in to mp3Pro from mp3...On my computer it sounds great, no loss of quality, but on my P800 it sounds bad, allmost mono.....I guess that P800 doesent support mp3Pro yet. I hope somebody will make the decoder for P800, that would have been great. So come on those of you who are able to do some C++/Java make an mp3Pro decoder for P800...the songs reduce the file size a lot.... I am converting to 64kB/s and that souns great on my computer......
