> Free download of Opera browser for P800

Now that the P800 has support for "true" web browsing, I hope this won't trigger providers to begin charging or raise their rates for bandwidths. It's not good having a feature that costs one to pay a limb for it.

Will there/is there a way to remove the standard browser to remove some memory?

I don't think providers will charge for bandwidth since GPRS is charged per KB... it doesn't matter how long it takes to DL a file or webpage, the bigger the page, the more you're charged. It's pretty simple, and I feel per/KB charging is fair to both provider and subscriber since we're not penalized for network congestion.

Opera is a Web/Wap-browser which is available for many platforms. The latest Opera release supports "small-screen-rendering".
Opera is also available for Windows/Linux and in my opinion the Opera browser is the best browser available. It's soooo much better than Internet Explorer and Mozila/Netscape.

If you are using Opera v7 for Windows, you can press SHIFT+F11 and you'll see the "small-screen-rendering" in action.

@laffen:
Did you get the chance to run the beta version of the Opera browser on the P800? Please share us your impressions if you did.
Thanks.
