I have been using Windows Phone 7 for a couple of months now and initially i had preconceived reservations about the OS mostly due to the slow sales and tech media being biased towards iOS and Android. But all i will say is ignore the negative rubbish that people say about WP7 its nothing but a load of rubbish.
WP7 is nothing less than brilliant and i can see and understand now why the Behemoth of the mobile world Nokia has decided to adopt WP7.The OS is smooth, neat, clean and just works every time! The only thing it lacks is the 10 Billion Apps that Apple and Android keep screaming and shouting about but who really needs 10 Billion Apps? its nothing but clutter and lets face it the most Apps we will ever use is 20 at one time and the 30,000+ Apps WP7 does have covers the most of what the majority of us need.
I am definitely sticking with Windows phone 7 and i haven't even seen or used the Mango update which is due any day soon which will rock 500 new features.
All i will say is i thoroughly recommend it buy buy buy i love it!

I'm not impressed by numbers of apps. Most of them are fartmachines or worse.
I still have some time to upgrade and Mango (great name) has a good chance.

Will mango bring full flash support? I just hate using phones without flash support as I feel I'm moving backwards.I remember how I waited for nokias to support flash in symbian years ago so in this day and age I can't see myself going back.
I love the iphone4 but did not get one due to flash support.
As for the media and sales figures making windows 7 look bad I agree.microsofts marketing department needs to learn a trick or two from apple, the first iphones were not that good, actually crappy but apple still managed to convince the world that it was the best thing since sliced bread! That probably paid of a couple of influential tech journos also.

No i don't think it will bring flash support as Windows Phone 7 like iOS have adopted HTML 5. For anyone who has an iphone they will tell you that flash isn't strictly necessary but obviously in your case you actually need and want flash support so i can only recommend Android for you.

I have noticed that a lot of people think that Windows Phone 7 is like the old Windows Mobile so that's not so Windows Mobile was terrible and probably the worst Mobile OS ever created i think. Windows Mobile 7 has been completely been built brand new from the ground up and is nothing like WM so comparing the two is like chalk and cheese.
As bad as WM was WP7 is the complete polar opposite and is absolutely brilliant!

Personaly not that impressed by Windows Phone7 UI wise, ive used it a couple of times on both the HTC Mozart and Trophy. There are some great features such as Xbox Live, and the People Hub, but they arent enough to take me away from Android.
Flash support is a big one for me to, and luckily in Android we have both HTML5 and Adobe Flash support, another is customizability and thats before rooting, WP7 doesnt come near Androids.
WP7 phones have great build quality though, MS did a good thing by setting strict requirements, WP phones feel expensive and solid, with Mango around the corner i would recommend WP phmes to people who dont require all the bells and whistles Android brings.

From what I have seen on W7 UI it looks more fluid than Android. I have played with many handsets & this did seem to be the case imo

Although Android is much more flexible i think its just far too messy and cluttered I prefer a UI to look neat and user friendly as is the case is with both the WP7 and iphone
Bonovox agreed WP7 is definitely much more fluid than Android.

@Julias,Bada by Samsung is more lag free than Android

Nearly every Android phone I have owned has suffered quite bad lag. I am actually slowly going off Android again. I want something new

Yeah i had Samsung wave for a while and thought Bada was rather good again a very underated OS i think. Don't think i would want a Android phone again unless there was updated neater and lag free version. Will be sticking to WP7 or the iphone as my other choice.
