Holy Smokes Batman! I've got Wireless Internet (GPRS)! Thank you so much Woe Dee! I owe YOU big time! What a great way to post the step by step settings for this awesome phone. I can't tell you how grateful I am to you for resolving this major frustration.

I am interested in buying the P800 but I am a bit unsure what is necessary to get the phone working with Cingular(I live in chicago). Do I need to buy an unlocked P800? What else is needed? A SIM Card? Once I have these things necessary to get the phone working, what do I tell Cingular? Do I tell them that I 'lost my current phone'(the horrific motorloa c33t), or do I walk in to one of the shops here and tell them I want this phone 'turned on'? I am close to buying one outright from eBay, so any help in this area would be greatly appreciated.
BTW - WoeDee, very nice site you have on the P800. Can anyone say bookmark?
Thanks!

Greetings,
Tried your settings for the p800. They worked initially. Now I keep getting an activation rejection box. Grateful if you could let me know how I fix the problem. I have checked with cingular and I have the right permisssions to access service.

How much did you pay? And do you think it is worth it? I am in the market for a new phone.

I am also on Cingular and the GPRS works great.
I am having a problem with SMS though, if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated... I can receive SMS messages, but I'm not able to send them. I tried the settings from my old T68i without any luck. Any ideas?
Cheers,
Stephen
