Etaab yes I stay to point out how I feel
When looking at TouchWhizz
I just found it awkward I didn't like
The layout
HTC are better for numerous
Things though they use better material
On most of there phones
SG2 was rather plasticky compared
To my Sensation yes phones have there
Faults but HTC are the brand that I choose
Over Samsung!
Sony Ericsson are better then them too!

Clearly they're not judging by SE's financial results.
I find it interesting how you find the Sensations build quality better than the SGS2, despite how the Sensations battery cover doubles as its aerial and made mostly of plastic also.

Sensations back was 2 toned
The phone also feels solid which I liked
Compared with the Samsung one lol

Ive had my eye on Samsung since the days of the i8510-Innov8, but never thought id get one, since those days they have been on point with hardware, as after the Innov8 they had the powerhouse of Symbian s60v5 phones, the i8910 OmniaHD which converted many Nokia fans to Samsung, there was the original Samsung Galaxy with Android1.5 that didnt realy do well then they brought the Galaxy S which despite being very conservative and understated turned out to be a very powerful device, personaly the GS tought me to keep a very close eye on Samsung, and with the GS2 not only did they get the hardware spot-on, they got the software to. They deserve every bit of success they are getting.
Personaly i dont mind TouchWiz4.0, its not intrusive, its simple and clean unlike HTC SenseUI which is full of fancy animations and bloatware, just look how it ruined the HTC Desire 2.3 update and how it messed up the Sensation's performance due to Sense being such a resource hog.
Hope HTC learnt their lesson this year, they need to improve: Their Antenna structure and placement, Designs, Camera modules, batteries, displays and software optimization, the Sensation truely brought that all out, these were issues previously spread across in a bunch of their phones and due to them rushing Sensation out due to GS2, all these issues popped out in one phone, hope 2012 is a better year for them.

I had a feeling this would turn into who's better than who
As for Samsung build quality they have always been known for top notch build quality. The GS2 & new Nexus yes like most
phones are made of plastic, but they don't creak or break or fall apart. You cannot judge a phone cos it's made out of plastic
it ain't gonna fall apart in your hand is it?? Battery cover might be thin but it snaps on tightly. The Samsung Wave I & II are great examples of solid metal build from them. The Sensation was not made out of a single uni-body it was plastic. TW is better for battery life for sure as Sense is way too layered & a battery hog. Too much fancy eye candy. I may have sold my GS2 but I find I now really prefer the Pure Google experience & would love a Nexus Prime!! Samsung has got where it has by not copying Apple so some say but from their own know how & tech & following the time giving people what they want. Why else would they be selling more than Apple in Europe & Asia??

I must of been one of the lucky ones
With my Sensation then cos I never experienced
None of that Tsepz
I had a couple dead pixels and couple
Dust specs I was prob crazy giving it up for
That but I did like that phone
Battery life wasn't to bad it was better with
A anker battery in my other half has this
In his HTC sensation he again also agrees
With the Sensation and Galaxy Bar
I tested both same day I got either
Sensation was just a lot better
The animated weather application
Is really clever and I disagree how u think
It's a toyish phone
Everyone has there own preference though
People use phones for different ways and yet
Some Disagree or don't agree

How true
Have two HTC's on WP7.5 Mango atm, Trophy and Radar, no dust, no dead pixels and neither battery, nor reception issues.
The Radar is a "real" unibody device with excellent build quality, battery life is above average.
Camera is only average though, but we've known that for years: you don't buy a HTC for it's cam. When you're going to buy a phone for it's camera, there's only
one: Nokia N8.

The Sensation is a lemon in my view. The placement of its antennas inside the back plate is well known to cause reception issues from what i have read from users. Software updates cannot fix it.

Never had a Sensation, so can't say anything about that, never had reception problems on any of my HTC's though, and I've had a lot, starting from the first Orange SPV (2002), I-mate, T-Mobile SDA, several other SPV's and Qteks, then they started selling them under their own name. They've come a long way when you compare a phone like the Titan or the Radar to the Orange SPV
Probably every manufacturer once in a while has a model, that doesn't live up to the expectations.
