Not been called Symbian Belle for at least acouple of months now.......obviously trying to move away from anything Symbian related. Anyway i have just updated my N8, and so far so good.
Nokia officially announced the rebranding from Symbian OS to Nokia OS is a press conference late last year.. I think during Nokia World if I'm not mistaken..
It's among the rebranding movement they made to all their ecosystem..
Ovi to Nokia as well as Symbian to Nokia:
Nokia Maps, Nokia Drive, Nokia Store, Nokia Music, Nokia OS etc..

if this turns out to be true, not just the specs but the LAST Symbian OS based phone EVER to be released ... then this will be the end of an era ... EPIC! The OS that SHAPED what mobile phones/smartphones should begin to take form as!!
You know it all started with Ericsson, not Nokia right?
R380.
I think if Nokia was to do this ... then the inner shell should have signatures by either a) top engineers/developers of Symbian/S60 right up to include Olli Pekka and last executive camp. A Tribute of sorts. Or an accompanying video up-close & personal of those that help shaped, drastically evolve Epoc into Symbian, S60, UIQ and right up to Belle.
If its beautiful and powerful (maybe some top notch polished apps bundled) I may purchase one just for nastalgia sake; maybe.

I dont think ericsson give a **** about it.. I was so heart broken when sony ericsson ditched symbian uiq! YEah ericsson did some great stuff which people tend to forget.. This generation is all blinded by "i"
Edit: I have used leaked belle rom, and I really liked it, its similar to android in many ways tho..

Well it even hints at possible optical zoom. As you can see from that photo the lens sticks out more than N8. Folded optics??
