EDIT think i found my answer, you need an adapter found it on the sony site
SGP-HC1 HDMI Adapter Cable for Xperia™ Tablet S
which im not fond of either but id rather that then mhl..

I like my Xperia Tablet very much! Pity the 64gb model is not sold in the UK, but I do see it's sold in Japan and I will be there in January!
edit - 64 gb version is now on UK Sony site...

If say I have music, videos, pictures stored on sd card. Will these be available to view/use straight off the memory card without transfering to built in memory first? Sony rep is telling me the card reader is only to transfer media across and media won't show up until transfered across. Is this correct?

Thanks, I got myself one of these beauties as soon as these were back in store last week. 16gB Wifi only - Xperia link and a whopper of a memorycard do the rest...
