How can a major US carrier pick up the EOS when it's not even announced yet??
Everything happens way in advance.. the US carriers tend to test each device for their network before they announce.

Oh yeah I know that but my info was that this will not be out till autumn or maybe even early next year. maybe my info is wrong but I do know Nokia is working on it yes. I just hope Nokia doesn't make similar mistake as with the 808 not selling it on the high street.

Eh ? the carriers are the first to find out usually and they keep it very secret. Which is why companies like Samsung are able to announce their phones in such elaborate style and then tell the media the phone will be available in which countries and on which carriers. Its all planned in advance.

Nov-Oct release ... which means that we might indeed see an announcement later in the summer, possibly the MS build conference.

In the newest rumor, claim that the device will not have OIS!
And this is happening because SONY (manufacturer of image sensor 920, 925 and 928) failed to integrate the optical image stabilizer to the sensor 41 MP, so it is almost certain that it has the same sensor of 41 MP 808 (manufactured by TOSHIBA), now Windows Phone!

HES9 Sensor
AT&T exclusive
Comes in yellow
Hopefully the same amazing optics from the 808.
The camera controls, oversampling, and zooming are the remaining questions.
Also, size and weight.

Regrettable !
It would be interesting image sensor giant, high pixel count, oversampling, xenon flash and OIS !
Maybe in 2014 ?
