Still 8 MP, 1.5 microns, and not sure if with phase detection. Can someone do the math and give us the sensor size?

I personally think that the Z3 Compact and the Galaxy Alpha are the better products out of the 3 so called "Super Mini" smartphones even though the iPhone 6 isn't that mini to be honest, it almost the same size as the HTC One M7.
in fact its slightly taller.
iPhone 6 - 137.5 x 67 x 7.1 mm
HTC One M7 - 137.4 x 68.2 x 9.3 mm

They are better in certain hardware aspects.. especially the camera department, but the don't forget that the iPhone's biggest strength is the operating system and everything that comes with it.
There is also some cool innovations around the chipset.. that thing can track a lot without using the GPS.. way more power efficient.
All in all is a good upgrade for iPhone 4 users, which is the main target audience.
