The Nokia we loved doesn't exist anymore.
Like it or not, the people responsible for excellent design, build-quality and camera are working at Microsoft or Jolla now.
This "new" Nokia is only a way to try and exploit the well-known name with a cheap, android-running iPad clone, hoping that many will buy it, for sentimental reasons. The Nokia we knew was one of the phone industry's greatest innovators, they've been leading, they didn't copy.

I think Ericsson showed them a few tricks, but yeah.. overall they've been at the head of the innovation curve for the most part.

Here they are just using their strong brand name, and why not ? Most people don't know the details
