hi. so cant u just buy a pay and go sim and register the imei number with that sim? wait a few weeks, spending at least 10 pounds credit and then ask your sp 2 unlock u? my p&g t300 only cost me 20 quid 2 unlock from orange. i got a 2nd hand p800 that was less than a month old without sim, locked 2 orange, but i have an orange contract as well. i got a p&g sim and am going 2 phone orange up 2 get unlocked. even though it was registered on the contract system, it is always unregistered on the p&g system. i hope 2 find if orange will do it like this! i will let u know! much cheaper than paying a years line rental anyway!

I bought a second hand T-Mobile P800 but ive always used O2. I just put the sim card in and then rang up o2 and told them this and they gave me a code to put it.
