i was planning on bringing my t68 chargr wt me coz i wanted to keep my p800 on full charge, but i found a usb charger instead at the brando website (gadget.brando.com.hk), i ordered one coz it's a lot more convenient to bring along... i just thought u guys might want one too... they also have a car cigarete lighter -> usb adapter...

btw, the last time i checked my batt life was last fri... took it off the charger at 9am (full charge), went home sat 2am and my batt is at 80-something %... bt is set to discoverable, above average sms, more than a few short calls and my friends played wt my p800 that night...
i've had my p800 for more than a month, i just leave it charging when i'm home...

I wish SE will come out with a spare battery charger that facilitates the charging of just the battery,or redesign the current desktop charger/sync station to include the capability of charging not only the phone but also spare batteries because it is a bit dumb to buy an extra battery and have to install it in your phone to charge it

When I first got my P800, it would last me about a day. Now that things have settled in, I get about 3 days battery life. If you wanna see SE's claimed 400 hours... set your backlight to OFF, no screensaver, Powersave to kick in after 2 mins, Vibra off, volume at '0', Bluetooth off, and network bar all incoming calls & texts. The green light should still be flashing (not in Flight mode). Basically, the phone will be operating with less power than older monochrome screen phones.

The backlight of the P800 drains almost as much as making a call. So turn it off whenever possible.

I bought my P800 more for its PDA, add-on software than as a phone. Compared to my old Pocket PC, this battery lasts for ages.

My iPAQ3970 was claimed to have one of the longest lasting batteries for a PocketPC which was about 5 hrs max with backlight at lower power!

I have the same problem. I charge my P800 every night to be able to use it the next day. I have GPRS check mail every hour, sometimes I don't even use the phone, just sits there. I think the 1500mAh battery will be a big boost for this device.

isn't there a way to turn off the lights when it checks the mail? Because what I see is if my GPRS mail fetcher is on it lights up the phone whenever it gets the mail.
