I've had the same problem.. ALOT!.. and im sooooo fed up with it, cause it only happens when i've written LONG SMS'es, with the flip closed (and usually when im in my car, or somewhere else, and writing long SMS'es takes time then, cause of the lack of T9!!!!). So this is bloody annoying, i almost ended up throwing my P800 outa the car window one day because of this (its been like this for like 2 months now, all the time, atleast ever 3-4 SMS i write with the flip closed, it crashes, showing that UGLY yellow triangle which im fedup with!).

I've also tried formatting the internal memory, master reset, freeing memory, loading memory, removed duo, formatted duo, etc, etc.. and still its like this.

I guess i have to upgrade my phone's firmware, since im using a old (i guess) R1B version. The problem though, is that the closest service center is like a 3 hours drive away from where i live, and they require to have the phone to the following day to flash it (or you have to pay to get it done the same day, which i think sucks). So i dunno..

We just have to hold tight for now! Just face it the P800 craches ALL THE TIME - almost as bad as the n7650!!! But im sure itll get better in future! It is bad tho - this shouldnt happen. Phones r gettin to be unreliable pieces of technology these days! NOT GOOD!

Still the P800 is the best phone EVER - wouldnt swap it for the world especially now i got a new 128MB duo!! - briliant

I posted this topic weeks ago, since then now have R1D and I no longer get this problem, it's worth getting done because as you know with flip closed and no t9 texting is slowwwwwwww and frustrating!!!

I believe that as technology are getting better and better, it is the users who are getting dumber and dumber.

My P800 never crashes(unless I really wan't it to). I guess I must have the one and only perfect P800 huh? -No, I just know how to use it. As an experiment I lent it to a friend of mine(girl) and just showed her how to hold the stylus, nothing else, and she managed to fu@k it up within minutes, just because she didn't know how to use it, and I had to reboot it to get it working again.

So you give an advanced piece of technology to a person who don't know di@k about tech stuff, and they will most certainly manage to fu@k it up, and then start complaining about how bad technology is getting.

The P800 should really come with a "Technology for dummies" book in addition to the manual.

i think that is a bit of a silly thing to say....the p800 has had loads of software problems. If it didnt there wouldn't be all these software updates to fix the faults!!

It's funny then that I have a P800 running the first commercial firmware(R1B) without problems. Of course nothing is completely bug-free, but there's nothing seriously wrong with it.
