2 questions:
1. I have copied both the "Edoom1.wad" and "Edoom3.wad" from
http://sep800.mine.nu/files/games/
Do I have to rename them to "Doom1.wad" and "Doom3.wad" respectively?
2. I moved the files using the P800 file manager to the Document>Doom folder. Can it worked this way? Obviously not coz it is still not working for me...

Yes you must rename the files. The files MUST be called Doom1.wad and Doom3.wad.

have all the requsite files and the game starts but i cant get the game to start it shoes the demo screen but wen i try to press on the single player game nothin happens....i cant evenm quit game i have to close the flip to quit,

Guys! All he wants is the doom3.wad file.
So. All you have to do is to get hold of the shareware version of doom(found all over the net for free).
You also may need doom.wad.
You can use the doom1.wad that comes with the shareware version.
If you want the full game you have to pay....

Off the topic, but does anyone know how to open the doors in the game?!?! I know it's silly, but i cant figure it out. Sometimes they open automatically, but now im just stuck on the same level, and its frustrating! PLEASE HELP!

Oh and Nay: The game is a direct port of the pc version. meaning that the touchscreen does not work like you probably think it does.
In the upper part of the screen there is a line with words like "enter" "esc" and other "keys". "enter" will work like the enter button on your pc.
Too press up,down,left,right: Press the screen with your stylus and drag it in the direction you want. left = pressing left on your pc.
There is also a little Keyboard icon there which you can use when you need to.
Oh and I'm sure you all remember the cheats... If not then: Idkfa = all weapons and keys Iddqd = godmode idfa all weapons no keys

i have installed EDoom on my phone, and the doom1.wad + doom3.wad on the memory stick ..however, when i try playing the game, its says that my phone doesn't have enough memory . How much free phone memory is needed to play the game??

Did a backup the the other day, after master resetting the phone, then installing ALL the apps again ( inc. EDOOM + doom1.wad, doom2.wad ). In an effort to be able to play doom, i un-installed some apps to free some space. Realising that it still didn't work, i restored everything onto the phone again. This time, after posting the thread above, i tried it and it worked. Now, all i have to do is learn the controls. In other words, my problem is solved.
If anyone else experiences the same problems, email me at
laveenl@hotmail.com and i will do my best to help u enjoy the p800 even more ( by having doom on ur phone!
