Better get the 5100 if you have the budget. But why compare 5100 with 3510i? 3510i is lowend compared with 5100. I think 3510i's counterpart is the 3530. And you can compare 5100 with the 6100. But still, I'd go for the 5100 for its shock, dust and water resistance feature. This message was posted from a P800

I've tried both of them... I would really go for the 5100... It has a betterscreen and backlight. You have to get used to the buttons though.. But furthermore the phone is really nice.

i must say that the 3510i is bad.i had 3 of them in the end i gave up becasue they all had bugs in them.all my friends that have had them had the same problems with the 3510i.when you use wap and try to login to email or use a forum or fill out a form the phone freezes.it resets when it feels like it.the ringtones play up.the only 1 thing i liked about it was the monopoly game.the 2nd one i had froze when u made calls.to be honest its the worst nokia ever.i changed it for the sony ericsson t310.
