is useless with this phone , cuz they only use it for the menue

Oh C'mon, stop this... Go check a dictionary for the meaning of "objectivity". Do you really believe in what you're writing?? What more does T68 (or T68i) has then that justifies the color-screen? Bluetooth??

As far as I can see from both phones, 6610 (7210, 6100, 5100, 7250 for now) use fully their color screen through:
- enhanced menus, yes, but so what? Like T68 and T68i
- wap in color. Like T68
- MMS. UNLIKE T68, but like T68i
- Java applications incl. HTML browser. UNLIKE T68 and T68i.

Don't get me wrong, T68 and i are good, but you should face it now they have been overcome. And some phones out there do clearly make a better use of their color screen than what T68(i) have to offer (and btw, apart of Siemens S55, they all have much better screen).

i agree with raven why do you care what phones people use.
but since you do i will let you know why i think people use nokias.
a mobile phone to most people is a way of keeping in touch ie making a phone call or sending an sms.
most people couldnt give a fuk about anything else except maybe be size and color screen
the color screen on nokias as with se is just as good for sms and phoning people.
nokias are cheaper in the uk and with contracts normally free.you can also change the covers making it look like you have a new phone all the time.
i use se and have used nokia.i use se now as i need more from my phone than just the ability to call peolpe and sms with speed (although it would be nice if se could speed up sms).
at the end of the day people will buy what works and what they like and since evryother post on here is complaining about how the p800 doesnt do this or the t68 is to slow is it any wonder people buy nokia

I've got to agree with Super G and Raven here - you continually segregate those who use nokia as inferior, and SE users as your 'comrades in arms' as it were. Bunch of crap, it's not like that and you know it. My 7650 pounds all your T68/T68i/T300 etc into the ground in practically every way. My P800 does it even more!

Yet my 7210 and 6310i are far better for texting on the move than any SE phone; obviously RF is a million times better than SE's stock model, the T68(i); thankfully my P800 has made up for this now and does not suffer the same issues. But know something? The camera on my 7650 produces far better pictures than my P800 does; my 7210's speakerphone is much much better than the P800's, and has a very good built in radio when my 'have-it-all' smartphone doesn't.

Overall i love my P800 just a little more than my other phones, and it gets taken out with me everyday - but i could run through a whole list of points where a nokia is better than any SE - and of course vice versa. That's why people still buy nokia's: they are cheap, they do what they are designed for very well, they are great for using as a PHONE - they can text and talk the pants off many competitors.

Right, i'm off to bluejack some 7650's.....

(but not because they're nokia's - just because i can! )

Few reasons
1 ) People don't want to change (Boring people)
2 ) Sony Ericsson has broken may promises
3 ) have really bad marketing dep and do not realise that phones are FASHONABLE
5 ) Nokia is (or was) known to have great quality phones
6 ) SMS layout
7 ) launch time of product is not appropriate
8 ) Software on the or ericsson phone isn't great at launch giving a bad impression

Raven
i agree with u that we must not care about ppl r buying, but we
r just wondering..
for example, 8910 is doubled orice of t68, and has less features
and ppl buy it ? maybe u will till to show off , but believe me
they wont if it was SE or any other rands.

and Super G
i agree with u too , but what i mean there is that t68 has only
256 colors , and we can make themes , screensavers, and to add
an image for the caller..
but what nokia did with there 4065 colors??
nothing , as u said for wap and mms...
so which one used the option of the color more.

ppl im not against nokia , i respect them , they have done alot
of great phones , also to develop the mobile world.
but i think they should not have that position that they have
with there basic phones.
its just like football, a normal team which used to be special
is still winning everything, and at the same time other teams
which r full of stars and great preformance lose against it..?
for sure everybody will start thinking why

Go and try to understand women... It is easier!!!

It is unbelievable but people in Turkey started buying T100's!!! In my school, 2/5 of the people have it... And also the friends of my father - especially from work - who saw the phone went and bought one after work!!! Good Job !!! I thinks that people started to realize that they should get rid of their Nokia's!!!

I have a n7210 and i'm not ashamed to admit it, people i bought it cause it fit my needs and not because i'm dumb and can't decipher gadgets. The price was very good also, I got a nice discount from a friend, so it was worth it. Now i'm in the market for a P800 and while I'm waiting for it to be released sim free in the UK, i will be using my nokia 7210. It works great, doesn't hang, doesn't reboot, all these rumours u hear about the phone being crap are probably from people who dislike nokia so much or really don't know how to use a phone. Anyways...i also picked the 7210 cause i'm gonna give it to my gf, she liked the phone because of the styling and i'm sorry to say, our society is like that people, make something look good, it will sell, regardless of if it does all it should be doing.
Now to that comment of the T-100....i wanna know how the T-100 is better than any nokia 40 series?? apart from the screen...i have no clue.

I'm not trying to save nokia and tell you they re better...heck i only bought phones from them, i don't work for them and if u hate them then go ahead...It's all subjective in the end. I just think you should think about how other people who are not so much into gadgetry think before you can say people are stupid. I mean why do people still buy ford's instead of nissans? you go ahead and tell me...

Why should I buy a SE?

-their small 256 colour screens are shit against Nokia's Series 40/60 screens (yes that might change but not yet)
-no Java except in P800 and T610 which are HIGH-END phones while Nokia has Java in entry level phones too (3410, 3510i, S40 etc)

-looks (I think Nokia phones look generally better)
-ease of use (Nokia's are easier to use)

Where I'm from Nokias are just cheaper. Half the time you can get them for free when you sign up for a plan.

In America, most people's first cell phone was the 5100 series. People here tend to have fanatic brand loyalty, and once they get into Nokia, they are very hesitent to switch. I had a Nokia at first, and wasn't sure about getting a T60, but it turned out to be great. Since then, I've had two other SEs and one Motorola(only because my T61 got ran over)

People here seem especially loyal to Motorola.
