From the T610 White Paper:

Pictures is the T610/12’s image viewer. It enables you to
view and organise your photographs, including pictures
taken by the built-in camera plus images loaded from
elsewhere, such as received via e-Mail. Pictures supports
image types JPEG, BMP, GIF, MBM, PNG and WBMP.

I think it may be an HTML3.2 browser or only Wap; definately not a competitor for the P800 (they'd be shooting themselves in the foot if it did)

Not really... having an HTML browser in the T610 only expands their market reach. Right now, if someone wanted a phone with HTML..they'd have to get a P800. Not everyone needs the P800.

I for one love my P800. I wouldn't be happy with just the T610. But that's me. For those people who prefer a split solution, or those who already have kick-a$$ PDAs... the T610 is perfect!

I'm glad is coming out with more options for people. Instead of trying to make THE perfect phone (which can never exist anyway) ... their slowly targetting specific markets. This will work to advantage since they will now be able to determine which people are really buying their phones, and for what purpose.

This way, they can address new features for newer phones much better. So at least, they will have business phones that have ALL the features that business people want... and entertainment phones that have everything multimedia people want... and cheap phones with the features that most people will want.

Hi every1, MY FIRST POST!!!! just been the owner of a magnificent t610 for over 2wks now, delighted to say it makes me feel like im using a phone and not a piece of plastic hehe.
Regarding the memory, I purchesed mine from carphone warehouse and it had just over 1Mb free memory, after installing some games, themes and ringtones (which sound eccentric) it had less than 500kb left .
Did a master reset, the 13 second trick does not work, to my amazement, it quoted 2207kb of free memory. Does this mean the SE t610 really has 4Mb? i think so, its just the firmware and predefined items that take up nearly 2mb of space.
BTW, when u do a master reset, 16 images under the abtract are reloaded, even though i deleted them including the parachute etc;. This was quite surprising and perhaps suggests that the t610 does have 4mb, but protects half of it from bein modified hmmmm........
NEWAY thank you every1 for all ur posts, a delight reading them all take care, the 1 and only GODMASTER

cheerz, finally, the thing is that i read many posts on here that claim otherwise and there r contradictions between users. I feel intimidated when i read posts that interrogate the features of the t610 without sufficient knowledge of the product. Some people havent even purchased the damn phone lol wot do u think?
