Yes, and by the time it gets here you can get the P800 at the same price if not cheaper! Today you can get P800 for SKR 6909 without contract so i guess with a one year Comviq or whatever you can get it cheaper than the t610..

But these prices are at some web-shop, right?!
And they´re probably selling T610 cheaper than the announced price.
Or choosing T610 with a 1 or 2year contract will lower the price!

The P800 isn't overpriced compared to what you get. In fact I would say that the P800 is quite cheap. It's selling for almost the same price as I paid for my T68m.
The T68 costs about $500 when it first came out, the P800 around $700... I don't think the P800 is OVER-priced... expensive yes, not over-priced.
Successors will always costs about the same price as the models that came before.
The GH688 was around $300, same with the R320 that came after ... and the R520... same "series"... same price
The GF788 was around $500... so was the T28... T39... T68... and now the T610... same "series"..same price
R380 was around $700 when it first came out... just like its successor, the P800.
Expect regulated prices from Ericsson/SE...not like Nokia, who ALWAYS
OVER-prices their phones.

@mrNoodles
Yeah your probably right, but my point is: No way in hell am i going to pay P800 prices for the t610! Not considering the features and above all design (i know thats a personal issue but still)

Hmmm... geee... what about $700 for a phone w/ a black & white screen, dual-band only, bad battery life, and a nifty pop-up sliding mechanism (which rattles after 6 months)??? Ya, you're right.. Nokia doesn't over-price phones.
And

software is slow... I can't stand the P800... man... it's like a friggin' turtle! I'm sure you know what I mean, seeing as you have one (according to your icon)

Spoken like a true Nokia fan.
OLD SE software was slow. This is already FAST (read the reviews). In either case, I'd prefer slow over buggy.
Color screen and poly tones you can hardly hear? Sounds like all new Nokia phones!
But Nokia still takes the cake.... add $20 worth of titanium to the outside of a phone, add a fault-prone sliding mechanism, but leave it dual-band and black and whiye and charge $750 for it...

Heheh As i already thought I'd always look at the signature instead of my message content.
As i said, ericsson software is slow like hell (even in the p1800, t200- i've tried them all) and it will always be. No matter what i say, u ppl, still claim SE is the best.I never made comparision with other brands but that doesn't keep SE from being the slowest of them all.
As i said, until they change that and the buggy software, their market share will be as low as it is today. That's the truth and the reality shows u am not wrong.
PS: I own a Sony J7 (i am very content with) but i use a Nokia 6210 from work to surf the wap ...cuz it's faster than ANY SE(i am interested in using a phone properly rather than dieing with a brand in my hand). Btw, i'd never and i will never buy a Nokia cuz they doesn't worth it. SE is in the same deep bucket of shit. We'll see in one year how samsung and some others will take the cake away.
