Cheers, is that 45 p/month OVP tariff much different to the Your Plan tariffs?
All I can see is that the OVP offers 50 free text messages for 12 months - so the OVP tariff seems better.

with Your Plan as far as i can c, u get 60 txts for 6 months only so that is sort of a promotion. orange tariffs confuse me quite a lot coz they've got lots of copies of other networks. u mite want 2 check the call charges as they may differ between ovp and ur plan

remember that you cant get the Orange gprs addon on any tarrif other than 'Your Plan'.... thats what i was told anyways...
and always read the small print when you buy from websites... especially if you are thinking of changing to a cheaper plan after 3/4 months.
hmm..... guess you guys already know this hey?

Hi:
I already have an orange contract ED50 that I want to keep.
Can I start another new contract with Orange so I can get my P800?
I don´t qualify for an upgrade until 5th April and by then they will introduce increase on handsets as per oftel regulations
any feedback welcome
Cheers

not madly impressed with cyren right now. I ordered from them at about 11am today but didn't get confirmation of my order until after 4pm. I had emailed them about half an hour earlier to ask if my order was ok. I got a reply to that email at 5:30pm telling me that my order would be processed tomorrow (wednesday) for delivery on thursday. So much for their next day delivery if ordered before 1pm then... If I'd known that I would have got it from a local company for a few quid more...

I'm about to buy a P800 - cheapest deals I've found online seem to be
http://www.cyren-communications.co.uk as mentioned above, but also found
http://www.mobilesuk.net for a quid more but with more accessories. Also, they do phone free on Orange 700 for £70 a month with £100 cashback. My my calcs, this works out cheaper if you get the cashback and you get 300 more minutes!
Ok, that was my 'buy-in' with the info...now for the Qs:
1. Gonna buy in the morning so was just wondering if anyone had had any dealings with either company mentioned - good/bad experiences?
2. I can't get my PAC code yet from T-mobile as my contract is not up for a month - if I just go ahead and get the new phone - will I be able to get my PAC in a month and transfer still for free?
3. Anyone know if you can get Orange Access Pack if you connect to OVP, or does it have to be Your Plan?
Any help appreciated - this forum has been extremely persuasive in making me buy the damn thing, so I just need the final push...
Ta.

@ julianmclean
1. Dunno, better off going to a high street retailer, most of them Pricematch, better come-back if you have any problems. Plus, you want proper insurance not reconditioned Orange Care
2. Yes, you can port onto Orange or T-mobile up to 6 months after taking a new connection with them. Operators are forbidden from charging for a PAC code and receiving networks wouldn't be stupid enough to charge.
3. The Orange Access Pack is available free for 3 months to all new customers connecting to Your Plan 120 or above until 31st March. Currently, such services are not available at all to OVP customers.
