Please post back, I'm in Richardson and checked to see that our software specs are the same. I'll try and find out in the mean time also to see if we can have our phones upgraded.

Here is info I got from Ericsson.
You need to call 1-800-374-2776 and they would give you reference number which you would use to call repair center in Minnesota. You'd have to ship cell to them and they would upgrade it free of charge, you pay only for shipping to there.

As of three weeks ago or so, I have not been able to view or download pics from ESATO (I'm also on T-Mobile). Other sites with pics have usually not been a problem. Could this be related?

You mean that at some point you were able to download pictures but not anymore? I just got mine so I never got it working at all and I was suggested to upgrade software version and I assume that would fix the problem but it might be something else then.
