@miss_uk
I reckon they'll probably refer you to Siemens or, get this(!), Carphone Warehouse, who do manufacturer repairs.
If I were you, I would quote the Sale Of Goods Act, which states that if an item is not fit for the purpose for which it was bought, within a 'reasonable' period of time, the consumer is entitled to a replacement or a full refund.

I have the exact same problem.
Looks like it is common and not a fault of my unit
Under the Phone Preferences, for Bluetooth settings, you can choose Headset or Phone.
When you pair with a BT headset, it defaults to Headset.
This seems to be where the problem happens.
With my P800, my headset happens to be a HCB-30 (car installed speaker phone).
When I move out of the car, for some reason, the call still gets transferred to a NON-EXISTENT headset, and so there is no ringtone.
But I only get the call back on the phone when the person I am calling picks up.
On a friend's phone, he said he even loses 10 secs of talk time!!
Switching the Phone settings Bluetooth/Default to Phone solves the problem... but it also means that my car speaker phone doesn't automatically pick up when I get calls in the car
*sigh*
With my old T68i, it would first connect using the phone, then attempt to transfer the call to a BT headset, but when none is found, it continues the rings on the phone.
I actually thought the P800 was going to be less buggy since it used a more established firmware. Looks like the T610 may be in the cards for me..
I guess if you never have a BT headset, or ALWAYS use yr BT headset, you will never encounter this problem..

@miss_uk - The Sale of Goods Act is for purchases made within 28 days, but you have a 1 year warranty with Siemens who should fix/replace it for you for free. -Eva

Ive had the camera lock up on me once with a white screen, a restart of the phone solved it.
Ive also had the lack of ringing when making a call also, ive only had it in the last month or so (before i got my HBH-60 headset) but it has happened about 5 or 6 times in total
Phone software version R1D

I quite regularly get the camera produce the white screen with SE logo.
I have to power cycle and everything is ok again. Do people who experience this switch their phones off at night ?
My phone is never turned off, and I wonder if over time the camera software gets messed up.
(I now use Handy Day to close the Cam app after use - this seems to help a bit)

Same here, I am also experiencing both problems. The problem with the camera appeared when I upgraded phone to R2D. Perhaps R2F fixes these problems, but I will wait for the next version. Do somebody know when will it come out?
