I received the radio the other day from expansys as well. I am overall very pleased.
- The connection is the best I have seen yet with the various accessories available for (sony)ericsson phones. Unlike the mp3 player or the hpr-11 it does not disconnect every five minutes.
- One complaint I do have is that when I dial up to the net using Bluetooth, or send a pic to my laptop via Bluetooth there is a lot of interference which is quite annoying.
Anyway it is definitely worth the 20-odd quid it cost me!

Can anyone comment on the sound of the new HPR-20. The reviews have only said "good" or "sufficient". I would like a more detailed analysis. How good is the sound quality ie clarity/bass etc and how loud is it compared to HPR-11 or a Sony Walkman Radio? Also, from the pictures it looks like the headphones use the same cable setup as Sony Fontopia Headphones, that is the main lead goes to one ear, then you have a another wire across to the other ear (as opposed to the traditional symmetrical setup used by most manufacturers and the HPR-11) Is this correct?

yes the cable setup is the same as Sony Fontopia Headphones . There's the 2 setting for the bass. ON/OFF. Personally i like to On the bass to add more punch to the music. Quality of the sound is just as good as any sony digital personal radio that u have in the market. The volume is also controlled digitally and i never have to use the maxium level. Half to 3/4 of the maximum volume is loud enough.
cheers
