personally i think the camera is really good, obviously it's nothing like a digital camera, but when there is light it performs really well. The only downside seems to be that it doesn't focus properly on what you're taking pictures of, like it doesn't know what to focus on... The picture quality is ok though, and i've left it at default, i only realised yesterday that it had loads of options in the menu and that i could turn up the quality... hopefully tweaking some settings will improve it, does anyne have some good settings to use?

If you transfer the photo's to ur pc/laptop you will find that the picture quality is very good! For some reason they seem poor on the phone itself.

the reason that the pics would look better on pc is simple the phone screen is only 4,096 colour when your pc is much higher at 24 bit high
but even that wont make a differnce if the pic is just taken by a crap camara!
my very old 7210 + camara + logomananger MobiMB software + Fbus cable
gave better quality pictures at only 29 - 35 KB
damn SE u make such a good phone but miss out all the good stuff!

Well, the camera on both the phones.. ( 7650 & 3650 ) is ok..
takes better pictures in dark condisions and better colors..
But iv'e tried it and the camera doesn't take picture at the same time you push down the button, so the picture get's DRAGGED wery easely on this phone, so for the p800. The picture wuality on both the phones. p800: 4/6 3650: 3/6
I'm not comparing it to a digital camera, i'm comparing to the camera in the phone how good it is! This is my opinion!

Why the hell does the camera for the NOKIA take better pictures in dark condision than se p800, i thought NOKIA was crap! Tke that one folks!!!!! well well, it semes that nokia is dragging upwards now, huh! Why is the camera better on nokia in dark condisions.! Why is it better than p800..! ARGH!!!

yeah the p800 camera really does stink compared to the nokia 7650! however, the camera has been improving since getting the phone. real strange that it does that. however, sometimes it also crashes with only the SE logo being displayed....and this is in broad daylight! SE really need to get their shit together and improve their camera!
overall: SE 4/10, Nokia 6/10
