yeah...i started IR jacking when i was like....hmm.......13.....that was like 6 years ago, when they came out with the Casio Digital Diary, with "Secret Message" option. It had IR and a built in Universal Remote Controller. My dad would be driving by this big huge SONY store, with several TVs on display, and i would select Sony from my Casio Digital Diary, then just press the power button! Boom! All the TVs in their window are off!.

I did that a lot even on my bicycle. Lol. Those were the fun days. Visting people's houses, and the TV turns on automatically. They are like WTF?? Then the TV changes Channels. Yup! i got my friend's dad to take in his TV for servicing everytime i visited his house.

LOL.

I dont remember clearly....but i think my friend once mentioned "u know whats funny.....everytime u visit our house.....the television starts acting funny" and i was like "oh.....really?"
lol

So does anyone know if the T610 is capable of any remote control functions? Controlling TV perhaps? is there a program for this?

Haven't got the T610 yet but I plan to. Don't really understand how this program works or what it can do https://sourceforge.net/projects/fma/

The only way the T610 can do this is with a mophun application, which can access IR. But before we can start developing such apps the certification needs to be cracked otherwise the programs won't run on the phone... :-( This message was posted from a T610
