Nope the UK is not the only place where phones are subsidises. In Greece 9 out of twelve months (3 months of no subsidising allowed) most of the networks provide quite heavy subsidies. You could the T68i free in June! And before vodafone entered the greek market i have to say tat companies were much more generous when subsidising phones when upgrading

and if you spend lots on your bill (over 70 pounds) you should still get a good price on your upgrade

Hmm on o2 online ur entitled to a FREE HANDSET every year as upgrade, I wonder if they'll still do it!!! Be gud to have price in calls reduced though guys that's why phones have gone up abit! ;)
