@kookiz: locking a thread does not mean people wont be able to read your announcement... they can still do and therefore would have gotten your message... by locking, people just cannot post after your message, a reason moderators do this is that your topic or message may have been posted by other posters already and would just be redundant... or if you posted it under "SMARTNET" or "SESS" or "SEMICON" threads i think it is just right they delete it because it is a competitor's offer...

I got 2 mc's upgraded at sony-ericsson north edsa free of charge yesterday. The latest version is r7a013 which comes in two language packs, Chinese (the one with inconsistent font sizes) and Bahasa (the one without wuziqi). I just wanted the users to know that its free of charge and the employees were as polite as the people at smartnet and semicon sm manila. Good day!

I posted a thread telling other sony ericsson users philippines about the free upgrade. They either locked the thread down or simply deleted it without hesitation. I was only trying to help. Anyway, that's what happened to me... How about you? or anyone for that matter? jeba_03?

What are the feature of r7a compared to r6a? Is the former more stable than the latter? How much will it cost to upgrade an mc to r7a? will the settings be erased? Thanks! Me too! I've had the worst experience of posting information to help those who have t68mc's about free upgrades from sony ericsson, but they keep on deleting the topic. Maybe they are being paid by other companies to withheld those kind of information(?) Guys, this site was made to help sony ericsson users and other people to cope with the problem regarding their cellular phones and peripheral...
