Question... I downloaded 1.3.1 uk english version and installed with out any "apparent" problems. But how do I check that it is actually installed? ie version number somewhere or such like

If you check Add/Remove Programs it should say PCSuite followed by the version number.

I am one of those people who "don't" have the problem.
I also haven't had any problems with restoring backups using the new version of the software.

What Windows operating system are you using? Did you uninstall older version of PC suite before installing latest one?
