I've just got a Anycom BT/USB adapter. It works together with PC providing system sound and music on my HBH-10. But I lost BT link with P800. How can all 3 units (headset, phone and PC) work together?

@Imran

I just used the sw that comes with my MSI bluetooth adapter. there I can connect a Bluetooth headset.
so I set my HBH60 to discoverable and let my pc search for headsets when it discoverd it I had to enter the pasword wich is 0000. and after that i can connect my headset with the pc by pressing the button on my headset. then I just go to mediaplayer and open an Mp3 and it plays trough my headset. when i want to end it i just push the button on my headset.

Do you need to re-discover headset from P800 again? after turn-off from listening to music from PC.
Another question, do you B/T adapter reconize P800 as PDA or just a mobile phone? I can't sync with laptop from P800 through BT, but IrDa only.

Thanks

Brimme, thanks for your reply.

That's really quite simple.

I have the 3com BT adapter, and after reading your post I went about trying to do the same.

I can pair the device and enter the passcode on the computer, and it shows up with a headset icon etc, but it doesn't do anything else at all!

If I press the headset button, it doesn't do anything.

I guess, the SW on the 3com is just not as up to date as the MSI, I will have to get an MSI.

Any idea if you can connect a land-line to your computer via the phone-jack and use the HBH-60 to make phone calls?

That would be really cool.

Thanks

@imran... 3Com's BT plug doesn't have the headset profile hardware so I don't think it can ever use the headsets with your PC.

Billionton and MSI have the headset profile built-in. MSI had their SW before Billionton did. I had to wait a while for the latest drivers for my Billionton to work... but even then, the Billionton had the headset profile builtin already as part of it's specs. And it was labeled as (Headset ready, no software support available)

AFAIK, 3Com didn't include the headset profile in their hardware.

So, is the MSI BT adapter the best one to buy then?

tried it out with Mitsumi Bluetooth adapter yesterday and it works fine with MP3 using Media Player. However, I doesnt go beyond 5 meters. Can it be my HBH30 or the Mitsumi?

Hi all,

Does anyone have a CF card BT adapter that is capable of connecting to a headset in this manner?

Or is it only the MSI and Billionton USB adapters that work yet?

Thanks in advance for any help

Hi there...

I was just wondering if this would work with any bluetooth headset, and bluetooth dongle?

I'm wanting to get the Jabra BT 200, unless you seriously advise against it?
