it indeed got louder at one point in the firmware upgrade chain... though it is still relatively soft for other people. the best way is to use vibra... that's the purpose of having a vibrating alert.

The upgrade does make it a tad louder but not significantly so. As lopio mentioned,just activate the vibrator,makes a difference when the phone's in your pocket or placed on top of a hard surface. Small price to pay for such a great phone:-) This message was posted from a T68i
