your T68i works just fine in Australia as well since they have GSM... as long as you don't find it funny to wander of in the middle of nowhere

yeah GSM has the better coverage. Telstra introduced CDMA when they phased out analogue phones in order to appease the country folk as I believe CDMA is better suited to rural areas (well thats there excuse anyway)!
