The thing with sponsorship deals is that they are made to be transient - it doesn't really matter who James Bond uses to make calls and if Lara Croft phones home using a landline phone it's not going to ruin the film.
As such in most cases it tends to be hard to get a pre-emptive marketing statement from anyone...except of course Samsung, who are flaunting their Matrix 2 phone for all its worth.

PS Has anyone else seen the pics of that phone on Mobileburn? I had the 7110 because it looked cool but the Samsung looks DIRE :-/

I think the a2618,r380 and d hbh10 were the featured ericsson units and not the r320.
Movies are a great push and marketing tool for these mobile giants to boost sales and SE is very good with it:james bond franchise.And samsung is doing it with matrix2 and we dont know next.what a radical phone!it beats the living daylights out of siemens xelibre,sx1 when it comes to design!

even before die another day, pierce brosnan already used an ericsson phone, i think it loolked like a nokia 9210 it had a finger pad where he used to remotely control his bmw, i couldn remember which bond flick it was but it was definately brosnan.
