The old T68 is almost 6 month old now. SE has done right to upgrade it. A mobile telephon is a advance technology, like Computers. In 6 month they get old and must be upgraded: I canīt understand why some of you getīs angry, the phone you has is the same as when you bought it.

If they had change the design and the phone nummber to something else like T70 then no one should argued about it. Iīm happy that they keept the design from the old T68 itīs the coolest design ever.

SonyEricsson i owned 50% Ericsson 50% SONY. The T68m was developed by Ericsson and not SONY.

If the SonyEricsson wasnīt here there wouldnīt be any T68i, and the T68m would be selling for some more years. But, now when SONY is in the picture and they wants to do one thing Ericsson maybe just have to say ok.

I thinkg that if we are satisfied with our T68mīs why get this angry. Does the T68i make our T68mīs that bad. And now when we will get the MMS upgrade with lots of stuff why argu.

Like Yellow-Hollow said, T68m was going to be the first with MMS and everything.

Also: I don't appreciate the way they tried to keep it all hush-hush..., just so they could quickly get rid of the last T68m's to some suckers who didn't know the T68i would be released....

If you check ANY OTHER manufactures site, you'll see the 'coming soon' phones on the site, so you know to wait...

didn't do this, they just waited until they'd sold enough and then released it.
I sent several emails with PICTURES of the T68i and I got replies stating the phone DIDN'T EXIST !!!!!! If you don't think are liars then someTHING is obviously wrong with someONE!!!

I hope you can try and see my point of view now!

C U!

Get a picture of a not yet announced Nokia, send them the picture and demand a statement. Their response won't be "that's the new _ _ _ _-phone, featuring bla bla...", it's gonna be "doesn't excist".

They have to release the phone sometime. It's just a bonus that it can be launced on the market immedietly.

So, since the T68m will be the 2nd MMS-phone, upgraded just days after the realse of the 1st, you reason that SE has lied. That's strange...

OK!

I agree totaly with you but I just want to say some reasons why they maybe done this to us.

The T20s and the T20e is an other example. T20e was announced att Cebit last year.

Someone---> Nokia would never do that!!! They put their coming phones on their website at least 3 months before they're released.....

Anyway, sick of discussing it!
You think your way, I'll think mine

No hard feelings

Peace!

First of all, there is way too much childish anger here. Patience.
"SE lied to us, they made out T68m to be THE phone of the future, but didn't advertise and then released the T68i with everything they promissed us..."
First of all the T68m did not possess the MMS if it could not be successfully tested on a Network or used. I believe E/// thought operators would be supporting MMS on a wider scale. Maybe it was more about bringing a product to market to stimulate sales after a slow profit year.
Second, The T68i is no more than a different face, updated Software Ver. and a chance for SE to again differentiate itself with a new brand. The software version that the T68i has can be flashed into any current T68m, once it's been tested by the operators offering MMS.
