> Handy Day 2.5 issues?

It's not called autostart, I just didn't dare to translate it.
It's supposed to be the 2nd option, called "show when flip is open" or something like that.
Cheers!

Handy Day has been the single source of most problems I have recently. It keeps crashing the phone, it wouldn't load on pressing the blue button, and it gives problems during backup. I don't know if it's because I run the program on the MS. Even booting the phone up is slow.
I removed Handy Day finally, and the phone was ok. It seems it had given all the problems.
Eventually, it was only good for locking the phone with flip off, and even so it used more memory than it deserves.
Anymore flip off phone locking proggies out there?

Yeah, I uninstalled HandyDay as well... it kept draining my battery for some reason... even when it was turned off!!
Oh well!

I've found with Handy Day 2.5 everynow and then the clock stops (in fact I've just looked at it now and it's sat on 8:04am when the time is 8:27am). The only way around I've found is to reboot the phone or it will keep sticking.
Another problem is that the blue button doesn't always call Handy Day, sometimes it reverts back to calling the internet (I've had to delete my homepage to stop the bloody thing connecting to GPRS).

Try to upgrade to 2.60 it should have some bugfixes.
Go to
www.epocware.com and download the upgrade, despite the non mentioning of it, it gives you version 2.60

Well, Epocware is a great company. Handy Expense is a good program, and Handy Safe, well, thank god for Handy Safe. But Handy Day just doesn't cut it. Too many things going on in the background that screws with the system.
And the interface! God, have you guys seen an UGLIER interface? Today on both Palm and PPC look beautiful, but this one is just plain ugly. Icons in rows that just don't align, lines and frames in the most pragmatic manner possible.
Pardon me, but Handy Day is just a program trying to fill the void of a Today application without really trying hard enough.

So does anyone know what to do to lessen the battery drainage that Handy Day does?
I like the program very much but I was really surprised on how much it drained my battery. It was unbelievable!!

cmon guys chill out give handyday some time to evolve into a great program. It gives you a lot I mean I don't know what I would do without this program. it saves a ton of time when opening apps. i am more comfortable now with handyday then opening apps the normal way.
No it does not look stellar, but I am sure it will eventually. Background images and such woudl be a nice touch. Better icon layout would be cool, but i am sure Epocware has thought of all this and are already working on it as we speak. Palm programs didn't look too nice when they first came out too ya know.
