From someone who has taken their T68 apart:

The color of the key backlighting is from the LEDs, not the keys. My T68m had four ORANGE LEDs to illuminate the keys. My guess is that they have been replaced by blue LEDs in the T68i.

Btw, I didn't just take it apart for fun, it was dropped into a swimming pool and I wanted to assure that it was completely dried out inside. Everything still works, but the backlighting on the display doesn't turn all the way off when the phone is in standby, it is very faintly lit. It seems to have affected my battery life only slightly though. I think it survived relatively well for being submerged under 3 meters of water for about 2 minutes.

www.mphone.co.uk are taking pre-orders for the T68i in which they estimate delivery in May!

I would not regard that as a reliable estimate. Mphone are dealers that either estimate themselves or receive info from the distributors e.g Data Select UK. Distributors do not know when stocks will arive accurately. Factory dispatch dates and distributor delivery dates may vary a lot due to slow shipping by sea etc...

My guess is that first T68i shipments will be receieved in the UK my end of march! We will see.

Prices of the T68i at initial launch, will be higher than the current T68m! T68i is a new product and will be at a higher price like the T68m at launch due to intertemporal price discrimination. Prices should be around 10-15% initially higher than current T68m prices.

But i do think T68i prices will fall much faster and more as SE will probably learn from excess demand condition that the T68m exhibited and will supply f**k loads of T68i that should satisfy all the eurozone demand unlike T68m supplies now!
