To think that these figures come only from those reported to the authorities! There are more cases of jeepneys and FXs being held up which I think really happens daily. Most would rather not report of their loss because of the hassle. They would rather get a cheap replacement, take extra precaution, and cope with the trauma they faced instead of going to the police. Sad but common scenario here. I think that figure is understated, though.

mostly the one's going in for the unlocking aren't the owners themselves.
