I think you're missing the point here.
Don't you think something as important as MMS should have been on the original t68m?
What about sms delivery receipts on the p800?
The real point is that if you read the P800 whitepaper there is a note about being able to do the upgrade from home.
SE's obvious gameplan is to get the phone out to consumers, then build on the support / features. I believe in 6 months we will see the home upgrades available - allbeit possibly in a limited capacity.

Cool it !! Its not BS.
Its been talked about for quite a while, and most likely it will be possible. Upgrading software (and e.g. languages), is not "far out",..look at the pc-software for P800, where you have an "install language",..I dont think SE would have put it there, if it wasnt meant to be used ?
And NO,..not all stuff are released at the same time, as the phone hits the streets,..you know that as well as I do.
If this was the case, the phone would never appear, hehe.
At the same time, its Sonyericsson first phone with "real Symbian OS", so some adjustments need to be made, before letting people do this via a website.

heres the scoop.
I went to a store, and they said they downloaded something off of the SE site yesterday. The guy is not sure if it is the new software or old one..... and he claims that the site only shows the model number not the firmware.
So anyway as it is France where everything costs something at tremendous prices, he wants 45! euros for it. So if it the old version I still have to pay. Should I take the gamble.
Oh yes by the way, I dropped my phone and got one microscopic scratch on it, anyone have any suggestions to take it out. Any cleaners I can use?
