ive installed everything but my p800 cant display chinese characters, it show only square, but i can send chinese to my nokia phone, anyone knows why my p800 cant display chinese character?

Guess Lester miss this part out.... actually, you need the Linear files too to complete the display....
This Linear file was posted earlier by someone.... can't recall...

i did master reset and format my memory stick, put linnea on drive d, and copy all files to drive d system, reboot my phone, change text input to chinese, but still no chinese character only squares will appear, even virtual keyboard cant read chinese only squares, but on jotter i can write and see chinese character, hope somebody can help me, maybe i miss something, TIA

You sure you've copy the Linnea.gdr to the D:\System\Fonts?
Is your Linnea.gdr support Chines characters? It is different from the default in our P800.

well i dont know i just downloaded the linnea.dgr from the url posted on this forum. but my font changes when i copy the linnea.gdr to drive d, the letters became thinner. are there other version of linnea.gdr?

go to my-symbian.com forum then search for new linnea.gdr
the file size should be around 1.2mb
the old and bigger size font has a file size of 866kb
