I think many of you are behaving childish!!!
If you buy a car with a 2.0 liters engine. A half year later the same car is introdused with a 2.2 liters engine.
Would you drive like hell to your car-provider saying: "I WANT THE 2.2 ENGINE! I WANT THE 2.2 ENGINE! Buuu huuu..."
No of course not!
So stop envy those people whoom maybe are getting a litle bit better specs on their phone, and love the phone you already got!!
I love it and wouldn't switch it for a T68i if I could!

The thing I wanted to say is that I feel we got a beta version of a phone, and that I am afraid we paid for it far too much. But we didn't know anything about a t68i version.
I only wanted a good phone that I could keep up to 3G ones.
I still hope I will get the MMS upgrade, but if not then I will be disappointed.
I don't have the money to just say :- Ok a new phone is out let us buy it.-
For me it was a sort of investment, I told myself that such a good and costy phone will have some years of use and many accessories built for it in the future.
It all depends on what the new software will bring us.
But this doesn't mean I am not happy with my phone. It means I don't want it to loose all it's value (not in term of price of course) only 2 months after I bought it.

we're not talking about a car here, and car manufacturers don't come out with new cars immediately after the release of the first model.
ericsson should have just released the p800 instead of the t68i

pinolo77, I agree with you, that's exactly what I was trying to say, and it's quite a bit different to buying a car. Cars and phones are different fish!

New technologies = short delay for new models...
but we are lucky; SE will give us the software so the T68 = T68i
what do you think if SE create new phone (like P800) without giving the oportunity to upgrade the T68...

I just think it's bitchy the way they tried to 'hide' it.... check Nokia homepage or a car homepage and you'll see the NEW PRODUCTS...

said they knew NOTHING about the T68i when I send Deadman's pic's to them???? Is that a company you can TRUST????

That would be fine because it's a completely different phone, the T68i is too similar

The ericsson distributors here had no idea about the t68i till i told em about it. Just today I sent the phone in for a software upgrade and I saw the sales lady dloading info about it from the net or something.
They don't know when it's going to come in though.
