I think the question not fully answered is why surf GPRS WAP when you can surf GPRS full internet. If the answer was not clear from previous posts I'll try to make it clearer here: Many of us use GPRS only for WAP. I would pay a lot more on T-Mobile USA for full a internet data connection.

Using wap over gprs thru ur phone only is cheaper or sometimes still free.Limitation though wud be ur phone's display colord or not. For gprs with full internet connection, this wud be xpensive based on ur network's rates especialy if ur phone is conectd to a pda or a pc. This message was posted from a T200

I use wap over GSM as I have inclusive offpeak minutes to use up. Although I do use the GPRS service on vodafone during the peak times, I still prefer to see WAP pages for the concise data it provides, as a full blown HTML page is hard to view on a mobile device.

i can view wap\\xhtml or full internet but wap is so much faster and uses way less data than full internet plus the page is designed for the small screen. This message was posted from a P800

Sorry for my newbie question but... HOW do I configure my WAP browswer on the T68i to work over GPRS? I have GPRS that I'm using to link a laptop or even to pull email (POP3) to my phone but the browser allways fail to work and come back with timeout error message. I tried for example to go to wap.google.com...

Please help

Thanks!
